Eighty years of a full life on earth transitioned to eternal life on October 23, 2019. Don was born to A.J. and Anna (John) Markham on December 8, 1938 in Yakima, WA.

Don and his wife Judy were best friends since 1955, marrying in 1961. They were blessed with two children, daughter Leslie Torrez and son Aaron Markham. Life was full of activities and community service. Don bowled for 65 years, the last 50 with his many teammates at Minda Lanes. He was a model train enthusiast (Lionel) and would never pass up an opportunity to play cards.

He leaves his wife Judy, his daughter Leslie and her family (Rachel, Duran, CeeJae and Calder), his son Aaron and his family (Annie, Tanner and Hanna), sister and brother-in-law Kay and Bob Sager, sisters-in-law Diane Sibbert and Kay Bloom, and his loving dog, Bella.
Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 2:00 PM at Englewood Christian Church in Yakima. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity, the Yakima Humane Society or Camp Hope.
