Chip Clark (80) of Toppenish passed away on Tuesday September 17, 2019 at the Cottage in the Meadow. Chip was born in Toppenish on June 5, 1939 to Reo “Curley” and Mamie (Davidson) Clark. He graduated from Toppenish High School in 1957 and attended EWU and YVC. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany for three years. Chip worked in his family business, Soil Conditioners, Inc. He was a past Toppenish Swim Team, Rotary and Booster Club president, served on the school board, coached AAU and Grid Kids and was a very active community-minded generous person. He loved to coach, support and mentor kids in the Toppenish community, roll dice, play cards, go to the casino, fantasy football, golfing, rooting for the Huskies and the Seahawks. He is survived by his loving and caring wife, Joyce; three children, Kevin (Pam) Clark, Stephanie (Jens) Clark-Lander, and Shannon (Matt) Lacey; five grandchildren; two brothers, Gary (Char) Clark and Reo (Tina) Clark and numerous nieces and nephews. Chip was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. Visitation will be at Colonial Funeral Home on Friday September 20, 2019 from 12-4 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the Christian Worship Center in Zillah at 11 AM, with burial to follow at the Zillah City Cemetery.
